Milo Treasure Tunnels — Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 September 2026
Milo Treasure Tunnels is a digging game for children. It has no account, no sign-in, no chat, and no way for one player to reach another. This is, in plain terms, every place any information is involved at all.
What stays on the device
Everything about how the game is going — coins, tools, the treasures and bones found, the pets hatched, how deep anyone has dug — is saved in the device’s own storage by the game itself. None of it is sent anywhere. We never see it, and there is no server holding a copy.
Because that save lives only on the device, the game can turn it into a short code that can be copied into a note or emailed to yourself as a backup. That code is made on the device and goes wherever you choose to put it. Nothing sends it on its own.
Deleting the game, or clearing its data, deletes the save. There is nothing left behind for us to delete for you.
Adverts
The game shows one kind of advert: a short video a player can choose to watch in exchange for something in the game — doubling what a dig earned, fetching back a dig that was lost, a chest, or warming an egg a little faster.
- Nothing plays unless it is asked for. Every advert is a button. There are no adverts between screens, none during play, and no banners.
- There is a limit. A few videos a day at most, shared across every offer, and none at all until the game has been played a few times.
- Nothing is locked behind them. Everything an advert gives can also be reached by playing.
The adverts come from Google AdMob. Every request the game makes is marked as coming from an app directed to children and from someone who may be under the age of consent, and is marked as non-personalised. Google is told not to use anything about the player to choose an advert, and the adverts are limited to content rated suitable for all ages.
Google still receives some technical information in order to send an advert back and to count it — the kind of device, a general idea of where in the world the request came from, and whether the video was watched.
Where the law requires it, the game asks permission before requesting any advert at all, using Google’s own consent form. If permission is refused, no advert is requested and the game carries on exactly as before: the buttons simply say there is no video available.
The one thing that can be bought
There is a single optional purchase — one payment, once, which turns the adverts off for good and adds some things to look at. There is no in-game currency, nothing that runs out, and nothing else is ever offered.
- It is behind a parental gate: a sum a young child cannot do stands between the button and the payment sheet.
- The payment is handled entirely by Google Play. Card details are never seen by the game and never reach us.
- We receive no record of who bought it. There is no account, so there is nothing for a purchase to be attached to.
- It can be restored on a new device, because Google Play remembers the purchase against the Google account that made it.
- It does not make digging easier, faster or richer. The game plays the same either way, and nothing in it is locked behind paying.
What the game never does
- No account, no sign-in, no password.
- No name, email address, photograph, voice or location is ever asked for.
- No chat, no messaging, no way to contact another player.
- Nothing a child can buy on their own, and no in-game currency bought with real money. There is one optional purchase, described below, and it is behind a question a young child cannot answer.
- No analytics, and no record of how the game is played.
- Nothing sold or shared with anyone, for advertising or for anything else.
Children
The game is made for children and built to Google Play’s Families requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, child or adult, because the game does not collect personal information at all. If you believe otherwise, write to us and we will look into it.
Changes
If the game ever starts doing something this does not describe — an optional purchase, for instance — this is updated before that change reaches anyone, and the date above says when.
